Q: This is so cool. How can I help?
A:
Play a lot! Peekaboom allows us to gather useful information about random images from the Web, which is used to train computer vision algorithms. The more you play, the more
information we get.
Q: Are all the images in the game safe for children?
A:
The vast majority of the
images in the game are safe for a general audience. We work hard to remove images
with
mature content from the game. Unfortunately, there is no way to ensure with
100% accuracy that all mature content will be removed from the game.
Q:
When I click "Play Now," I get a window with a small "x" in it, indicating
that my browser cannot display something.
Can I not
play the game?
A:
Peekaboom is written as a Java applet and requires your
browser to have the
Java JRE
version 1.4 or later. If you only
see an "x" in the game window, you probably need to install Java for your browser.
